So whether you’re looking for bars, restaurants, cabaret, or a day out and about, here are some suggestions from those in the know.

Activities

1. Aqualandia Waterpark 
Splash about on the slides and flumes or simply relax on a rubber ring and float around the Amazon River.

2. Parque Natural Sierra Helada 
A picturesque natural park with spectacular views of the bay and the mountains.

3. Mundomar Animal Park 
Love wildlife? See all kinds of animals from meerkats to flamingos and watch live shows featuring dolphins, parrots and sea lions.

4. Terra Mitica Theme Park 
This popular Benidorm theme park has seven loops and the Titánide coaster for daredevils, while Ayquesustus is always a huge hit with young children.

Day trips

5. Albir
A small, cosmopolitan village with broad tree-lined avenues and a relaxed atmosphere – perfect for a quiet day out.

6. Altea
The Old Town here is packed with restaurants, while the pretty harbour is definitely worth a look.

7. Calpe
Gorgeous Blue Flag beaches and home to the magnificent Calpe Rock which stands at over 330 metres high.

8. Denia
Another fantastic beach destination, Denia also has a number of hiking trails. Visiting in July? Check out the Toros a la Mar bull run festival.

9. Guadalest
This village perched on a mountain top is steeped in history and has a prison, dungeon and a famous castle to explore.

Bars / Pubs

10. Morgan’s Tavern
Recognisable by the big wooden ship standing outside, Morgan’s Tavern is the setting for Neptune’s Bar in the ITV series Benidorm.

11. Crissy Rock’s Bar
Fronted by the legendary actress and comedian, this lively bar offers great food and sport, and is perfect for families and large groups.

12. Shamrock Bar 
This Irish bar is one of the liveliest pubs in Benidorm with live music, sport and a spacious sun terrace.

13. The Rover’s Return
Sharing its name with the famous Coronation Street pub, this friendly bar has a great atmosphere to enjoy a few drinks in.

14. Rockstar Bar 
One of the resort’s most popular places for live music and entertainment and a great place to sit outside during the day.

15. Sinatra’s Benidorm
A fun bar with live acts and reasonably priced drinks.

16. The Red Lion
Popular during the day and in the evening, The Red Lion provides cabaret, karaoke and sports.

17. Cumberland Bar
A great place to spend a fun-filled evening of karaoke.

18. Western Saloon
The ideal place for anyone who loves their music, expect live bands and a vibrant atmosphere.

19. Rachel’s Bar
A friendly family bar, Rachel’s has a variety of acts performing every week.

Cabaret / Entertainment

20. The Stardust
The Stardust is the perfect location for a fun and lively night out.

21. Levi’s Showboat 
A fun night of entertainment with DJs, karaoke and cabaret.

22. Rich Bitch 
A must-visit, Rich Bitch features in ITV’s comedy Benidorm and stars the hilarious female impersonator, Miss Jordan Rivers.

23. White Horse Pub 
A family pub with live football, top class cabaret acts and even an arcade area for children. Happy hour is from 7:30pm until 9:30pm.

24. Benidorm Palace 
From singing and dancing to cabaret and flamenco, this is a great location for a big night out.

25. Café Benidorm
The whole family are welcome at this buzzing bar and the cabaret shows guarantee an evening filled with laughter.

Food / Restaurants

26. 7 Palms
Situated on the sea front of the new promenade, food is cooked to order here. The brunch menu is highly recommended.

27. Paneils
A long established restaurant in the heart of Benidorm Old Town, meat lovers will be spoilt for choice at Paneils with the ‘Big Steak’ menu.

28. Duetto Italian Restaurant
This laidback Italian restaurant serves some of the best pizza in Benidorm.

29. The Amigos
The Amigos stands out from the crowd when it comes to dining in Benidorm – a great location for an evening meal.

30. Neil’s Brasserie
A relatively new restaurant in the resort, Neil’s Brasserie offers an array of dishes from around the world.
