Don’t worry if you’re staying at home or working this bank holiday weekend, as it means you can enjoy a getaway later on in the year instead!
Here are three of our latest deals that you can take advantage of:
Valencia 3* Bed & Breakfast – from only £139
Love paella? Then there really is no better place than Valencia. The delicious dish is said to have been developed in the Spanish city, and there are numerous places to sample it here. Alternatively, if tomatoes are more your thing (throwing them, rather than eating them), anyone in the city on the last Wednesday of August will be able to experience the incredible La Tomatina Festival in the town of Bunol – just remember not to wear your favourite outfit!
Corfu 4* All Inclusive – from only £279
One of the highlights on any trip to Corfu is the amazing Aqualand water park, with many of its attractions designed by companies who had worked at the Disney theme parks – so you can expect them to be top quality. As well as picturesque green landscapes and beautiful beaches, visitors to the island will also be able to walk in royal footsteps as Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh was born here back in 1921 – although we can’t confirm whether he spent a day at Aqualand or not!
Nile Cruise & Stay 5* All Inclusive & Full Board – from only £549
If you don’t like spending too much time in one place, a Nile cruise should be right up your street (or river), allowing you to explore Hurghada and Luxor as well as the most famous river in the world. Many films have been set in Egypt over the years, including a scene from ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’ at Karnak Temple in Luxor and the 1978 film ‘Death on the Nile’, set on… the Nile. Don’t worry about packing your brolly though for your trip – as Egypt receives less than 80mm of precipitation every year!
