Benidorm, Spain
A great place for a family holiday, couple’s trip or group getaway, Benidorm is one of the Costa Blanca’s most popular resorts. Not only is it packed with rugged scenery (think jagged cliffs overlooking gorgeous coastlines), but there’s plenty to do there too.
Stay: Book in at the Servigroup Pueblo Benidorm Hotel, which has excellent facilities (including a kids club). Its central location means it’s within walking distance from the lively Benidorm nightlife and shops, and most importantly, it’s just 400 metres away from the beautiful Levante Beach.
Price: From £483 per person (7 night stay – half board)
Boca Chica, Dominican Republic
Known for its immaculate sand and lush jungle, Boca Chica is a great place to go for some guaranteed sunshine in an exotic setting.
Stay: If you opt for The Bellevue Dominican Bay, located just 300 metres from the beach front, you couldn’t get any closer to Boca Chica’s Caribbean coastline. If you have some extra cash to play with, there’s also a spa next to the premises and an 18 hole golf course.
Price: From £448 per person (7 night stay – all inclusive)
Costa Adeje, Tenerife
This particular part of Tenerife is famous for its pristine beaches, making it a popular spot with the celebs (including the Beckhams). While Playa Fanabe has the typical black, volcanic sand indigenous to the Canaries, Playa del Duque offers a nice contrast with golden sand imported from the Sahara Desert.
Stay: Be Live La Nina is a four star hotel right on the beach and is 500 metres away from Puerto Colón marina, making it a great spot for watersports while being close to a number of shops and restaurants.
Price: From £454 per person (7 night stay – all inclusive)
Sunny Beach, Bulgaria
Located on the Black Sea, Sunny Beach isn’t just Bulgaria’s largest resort, it’s also the most popular one. And with turquoise tides like these, it’s easy to see why.
Stay: At The Hotel Sunset, you’ll get a four star experience with a laid back vibe. It’s also conveniently located – just a 5-minute walk from the beach and the main strip and a 15 minute stroll from the centre of Sunny Beach where you’ll find most of the shops, bars and restaurants.
Price: From £319 per person (7 nights all-inclusive)
Puerto Pollensa, Majorca
Also typically known as Port de Pollenca, this former fishing town is home to sheltered bays and local tavernas with the Tramuntana mountain range in the background.

The spa offers a wide range of treatments and facilities to help you unwind including a hydromassage cyclonic shower, a Finnish sauna and Turkish baths.
