10 Travel Pinterest Boards for Holiday Daydreaming

Whether you’re looking for travel tips for your summer holiday, or planning your dream lottery-win escape, nothing helps conjure up some inspiration (or should we say “Pinspiration”?) quite like a good travel Pinterest board.

With so many boards to choose from, it can be difficult to know where to start. So whether you’re a Pinterest pro or a beginner pinner (see what we did there), we’ve found some beautiful accounts to add to your collection.

With an emphasis on independent and family travel, Sydney-siders Caz and Craig’s boards cover everything from planning trips, cocktails, wildlife and their own bucket list wishes – not to mention those all important family travel tips.

2. Beers and Beans

One of the biggest travel boards on Pinterest, Bethany Salvon’s epic Wander Wall will definitely keep you wanderlusting through your lunch break. She also runs Pin Up Live (a Pinterest travel chat) and has boards devoted to packing tips and tricks, too.

Intrepid adventure photographer Iain Mallory has a host of useful boards under his belt. As well as photography tips, we found pictures of must-have gear and – our favourite – Great Places to Drink. Clearly a man after our own heart.

4. Ken Kaminesky

Photographer Ken’s food and travel board had us drooling over our keyboard, while Wicked Wildlife will make you hanker for an adventure. You’ll also find some of his own work on here, too.

Easily one of the most useful accounts we found, LA based Travel Fashion Girl solves all your packing dilemmas. If you’ve ever wondered what to pack on holiday, this is where you’ll find outfit suggestions and tons of travel wardrobe inspiration (maybe we’ll set her a challenge).

6. Landlopers

Matt Long is all about the things to do, with Spain’s Costa Brava, the Pyrenees, Capetown and France just some of the destinations covered on his travel boards. Oh, and what Pinterest account would be complete without cute animals?

Eat Your World

Hungry? You soon will be. Eat Your World does exactly what it says on the tin: tells you what to eat around the world. And if the featured food takes your fancy, simply click through to her blog to get the recipe (don’t worry, there’s a board for burning it all off, too).

With a name like that, it’ll come as no surprise to find out that Darlene and Peter Heck like to focus on the more active side of travel life. Slow, fast, walking, jumping and the odd bit of pampering, this will definitely make you want to get out and see the world.
