Tip: Spend a day at the Essaouira beach resort. Not only is it an ideal day trip, but the temperatures are milder too.
If you’re seeking a beach break away with lazy days by the pool and plenty of things to do after dark, this is the spot for you. The largest of the Balearics, the island isn’t just packed with beautiful beaches, but has plenty of lush countryside too.
Tip: A great way to see the whole island is to hire a bike. The World Heritage Site and mountain range, Serra de Tramutana, also happens to be where the pros practice for the Tour de France. Don’t worry though, there’s flatter terrain around to explore too!
