UK Holidayers Hit the Brakes on Junk Food

If you’re worried about cutting the perfect bikini body this summer, you’re not alone. Recent research has revealed that almost half of all Brits diet in the weeks leading up to their holiday with 28 per cent starting 3-5 months ahead of a beach break. This comes just two weeks after Brits admitted to avoiding a stint by the sea altogether due to hang ups with their body.

World’s First ‘Elfie’

What’s new in the latest selfie craze? Animal ones. That’s right – selfies with animals in the background. This week a Birmingham man accidently developed a new angle to the fad when he dropped his phone while visiting the elephants at West Midlands Safari Park in Worcester. The Big Smoke-ing

Mirror, mirror on the wall who’s the fairest of them all? According to a new survey, it’s London, which has just been named the world’s most attractive city to look at – putting former champ New York City down a spot into second place. Other cities on the list include Singapore (3rd), Toronto and San Francisco. However, when it came to best quality of life, Sydney beat the British capital, which was crowned most liveable.

The Party Starts at 40

The travel industry is experiencing a record surge in the number of over-40s revisiting their old clubbing haunts from 25 years ago. Dubbed ‘retro ravers,’ there’s been almost a 40 per cent rise this year alone in bookings for this demographic with the most popular hotspots including Ibiza, Magaluf and Ayia Napa – iconic ‘80s party destinations. We just hope they can still handle the all-nighters!
